Welcome to the High Desert Branch of the California Writers Club
The California Writers Club celebrated 103 years of literary history in October of 2012. We are dedicated to educating writers of all levels of expertise in the craft of writing and in the marketing of their work.
The century-old club has 18 branches throughout California, and over 1550 members. Our branch was founded in October of 1990 and is now 21 and change....
The High Desert Branch of the CWC meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon in the Community Room of the Apple Valley Library.
We also provide other auxiliary programs at other locations and dates. Please check our Events Page for details.

Mission Statement
The California Writers Club (CWC) shall foster professionalism in writing, promote networking of writers with the writing community, mentor new writers, and provide literary support for writers and the writing community as is appropriate through education and leadership.
